In Action - Part 2

So  here I am again, In the last post I promised you guys I would show some photo updates.  I have used scrap shirts for practising.
So here it is, tell me what you think .
(The things I used will be down below, If curious.)

Theses are the stencils I made In the space of two weeks, I have been trying to do more Urban, edgy art recently and I think this may be it.

The first one is of a girl with headphones on, the second one is a letter stencil that I just made up, the third one is a typicall stereotype black boy from USA that plays ball, the fourth is a young urban girl with a beanie, the fifth one is an afro boy (He thinks his cool) and lastly the lollipop girl with a bit of edge and the business initials.

A very small description of what they are about or if not ill let you decide.

Here is just a little look of how it turned out (My first stencil!!!! wooop.)
The scalpel gives such great neat lines to the stencils, thats what I love about
this new scalpe I bought.

In Action - Part 1

So 'In action', many of you maybe thinking what that means, for me.

If you have read previous posts of mine, you would have seen me mention that I was going to start designing T-shirts with my own art printed on them (New aspect to my Business - Ways of promotions).

I have been keeping myself busy recently and really trying to put alot of things into action In terms of my business, creating things that I can actually see. Being a young entrepreneur is not easy but I find recently I have been juggling alot of things at one time.

I  hopefully want to start selling theses T-shirts in the spring near summer, this is my goal. Its going well at the moment, I have been experiementing with many paints, this wasn't as neat as I wanted it to be so then I moved on to the Tulip spray, and It's alot easier to apply onto the fabric im using. I stuck with the permanent grape and sapphire, I love the colours on the white vests. The work perfectly but in the near future I still want an actually spray can eventually.
One thing Im glad about is that I have the best supoort system around me, My twin is constantly offering her survices to help me, my big sis always makes sure my head is on straight and never lets me fall, always there to pick me back up. lastly my mother is my inspirating and is always there to give great advice. What more could I ask for...???? I dont need anything else. Thanks to my beautiful queen and princesses.

Photo of my twin helping to do a customised Black  T- shirt: 21 On the back and sun glasses chick on the front.

I have actually been using the Tulip Matt tubbs for my practice and the tubbs look like the ones in the above photo. The paint is not too bad and dry pretty fast. The one thing I dont like about the white one is it does not look the same dry and wet. Its really light and doesnt look neat enough for me. So yes I have stopped using those, only if I have to do a practice shirt, I will use it to save the good stuff.

Hobby craft is my store, I love it. It makes me spend all my money, but its all worth it in the end. Thumbs up to all the Hobby craft stores out there!!!!.
...And just in case you was wondering what I have been using, The information is below
What I have been using:
  • Fiskars Cutting mat - Hobby Craft - £5 << I think, Can't rememeber exactly, but it's close.
  • Tulip dimensional slick fabric paint - Black - Hobby Craft - £2
  • Tulip dimensional slick fabric paint - Blazin  Blue - Hobby Craft - £2
  • Tulip dimensional slick fabric paint - White - Hobby Craft - £2
  • Tulip permanent  fabric spray - Sapphire - Hobby Craft - £8
  • Tulip permanent  fabric spray - Grape  - Hobby Craft - £8
  • Scalpel Knife - Hobby Craft - £5 << Also not sure, but close.

Look out for the next post,  it will most definately be packed with photos of what I have done so far and more.

New Years - Change Of Heart...?

This is going to be short..

Im back after the new year and Im feeling ready to take yet another big step.

As it was coming closer to christmas and the new year all I could think about was that christmas table and the food it was going to be packed with, but what I was thinking about the most as the time came closer to the new year was...

What things would I do?
What new people would I encounter?
How would I make my art brand more known?
When would I get involved with more things that are going to get me out there?
How could I change my lifestyle?
and most importantly, How would I change my WHOLE mind set?

There was clearly alot of things on my mind, I know.

I will embrace this year like no other, pursue my dreams and hopefully inspire others.

Thanks for passing by again.

BRING ON SUMMER !!

So Its been a little while since I have updated you guys on what Im doing. Ive decided that I wanted to do a photoshoot. This photoshoot would be with four others and my amazing big sis that has agreed that she is going to be the camera girl.. wooohooo!

So heres the thing I was going to do this photoshoot around this time, before christmas but the more I thought about it and the more I spoke to big sis and twin, I realised that maybe right now wouldnt be the best time because Its cold out side and it isnt getting any warmer for now.. so....

I am going to do the photoshoot Mid Spring, early summer .. is that not the best time... yess!.
So now Im going to do the photoshoot then. Now I want to tell you guys about the theme of the photoshoot because to me its a pretty big deal.

The idea is my art... on clothes. Im so excited because ive never seen my art on clothes before apart from on canvas or paper. The first three images is the few I have in mind right now because one they are all complete and two because I feel they also have a nice urban  feel to them. On T-shirts, vests, jeans  and beanies .. so look out for pictures from the photoshoot mid year next year.

...and also before I sign off this image below is still not finished but its definately a work in progress. So look out for this on tops too. I really hope you guys like it when its done. Be sure to queery about them in the summer!!

Thank you all

Girls Girls Girls !!

So it’s been a while since I've posted anything, I want to talk about girls and their insecurities, if you agree, disagree with anything I have to say, I’d love to hear it.

So recently I've been noticing a lot of girls on instagram consistently...That doesn’t actually like them. I don’t think its right that some women give younger girls the impression that it’s ok to wear layers of makeup, we was born this way and we should be happy with the way we look. It’s not right when you see girls on instagram and other social networking sites talking about how they want to look like someone else, they want to have someone else’s face, have their life. At the end of the day you don’t know what that girl’s life is like when they’re not online. There is a lot of girls in the world that are like 13-17 that are just very insecure about how they look, it’s not right that they think their role models have to be drenched in makeup and all the fake stuff. We should be teaching them how to be happy with who they are and be comfortable in their own skin.

I have a problem with girls that just refuse to not wear makeup. There is nothing wrong with defining your natural features but giving your face a whole new colour and just going overboard with it, I don’t agree. It’s very unattractive and not appealing at all. Comment and tell me what you think about this topic. I’m up for discussion.

Peace xo

Finally might be back on track...

So for a while I stopped drawing completely which I wasnt too happy about, but I just couldnt find the energy to do so, so I didnt.
Well its not that simple, things happen and people change and I guess that happened to me for some while, its just some people never go back to who they are, which I find sad because Id hate for that to happen to me...again. Drawing is my life and I really dont know what I would do without it, I cant express the way im feeling so I just do impresionism work on people I love or have wanted to draw for some time.
Having something shake your whole world only makes us do better.

Ambition Is The Only Way Forward...

So my cousin came over today from uni, its been a while so it was really nice to see him after a couple months. We caught up with everything he was doing at uni and how nice it was.

Then we started talking about how it would be nice for me to check it out. Heres the deal with uni and me. I never thought of uni in the beginning, It wasnt my thing and I looked at it as "Everyone else is going doesnt mean I have to go if I dont want to and if im not ready" but... now that my cousins come round my mind is in a different place. He told me that its a great experience so far, and his only been there for a couple months. Growing up plays a great part in uni and I really do think I need that.

What im scared of is, leaving my family but then that just means I have no independance.. which is really bad. I have to learn to start doing things by myself. I can take great acre of myself with the confidence of the family being around but out of that environment with the family, I feel like ill fall apart.

Note to myself: Is uni for me??

Maybe Nows the time to show that my generation can do more then just sit around all day and be a bum...
